ANSES: July Increases and Complete Payment Schedule

30/06/2026 15:26 - Economia

Understanding ANSES: The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) is Argentina's government agency responsible for managing pensions, retirement benefits, and family allowances. Think of it as the Argentine equivalent of the U.S. Social Security Administration, but it also handles child benefits similar to the UK's Child Benefit system.

ANSES officially announced this Monday the new amounts for social benefits corresponding to July 2026. The adjustment applies the current mobility formula, reflecting a 2.15% increase based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for May reported by INDEC (Argentina's National Institute of Statistics and Census).

Updated Amounts for July 2026

The agency under the Ministry of Human Capital detailed the exact values, including the complementary bonus of $70,000 for lower-income benefits. This bonus acts as a temporary cushion for inflation, similar to cost-of-living adjustments in other countries.

Benefit Type Base Amount (with increase) Bonus Total Payment
Minimum Retirement Pension $411,989.33 $70,000 $481,989.33
PUAM (Universal Pension for Older Adults)
For those 65+ without sufficient contributions
$329,591.46 $70,000 $399,591.46
Non-Contributory Pension (Disability/Old Age)
For those without work history
$288,392.53 $70,000 $358,392.53
AUH (Universal Child Allowance)
For families with children, informal workers
$148,049 - $148,049
AUH - Child with Disability $482,062 - $482,062
Family Allowance per Child (Income Bracket 1) $74,033 - $74,033

💡 Important Context: All amounts are expressed in Argentine Pesos (ARS). At current rates, 1 USD ≈ 1,200-1,400 ARS (rates vary). This means the minimum pension is roughly equivalent to $350-400 USD monthly.
