Today, July 15, 2026, the football world stops to witness one of the most anticipated semifinals of the 2026 World Cup. Argentina and England clash at 4:00 PM (local Atlanta time) at the impressive Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Additionally, the entry of bottles was prohibited, and it was reported that 13 Argentines were denied entry for attempting to enter with fake tickets. So far, around 33,000 people from Argentina have registered in the U.S. for admission rights.

From the Casa Rosada (the seat of the Argentine executive branch), the government of Javier Milei has ruled out granting an administrative work leave for this day, despite requests from a public employees' union. The president himself will follow the match alongside Karina Milei from the presidential residence in Olivos, a suburb of Buenos Aires.
