Mendoza Attracts Global Brands: Brazilian Powerhouse and New Investments Arrive

22/07/2026 10:51 - Economia

A New International Landing in Mendoza

The province of Mendoza, located in western Argentina at the foothills of the Andes and renowned globally for its wine industry, continues to consolidate as a major hub for investments in Argentina. With a dynamic and growing market, Mendoza will soon welcome a new foreign firm that is strongly betting on local development.

Casa do Construtor Arrives in Guaymallén

According to MDZol, on July 25, 2026, the first branch in the province of Casa do Construtor will be inaugurated. This is the largest network of light construction machinery rental franchises in Latin America. This will be the company's second location in the country, following its landing in Córdoba (Argentina's second-largest city) in early 2026.

The Brazilian company chose the department of Guaymallén—a densely populated area within the Greater Mendoza metropolitan region—for its installation. The specific address is Ejército de los Andes 336, in Dorrego. The venture required an initial investment of approximately US$100,000, allocated for machinery acquisition, property adaptation, and equipment.

The company's Director of Expansion for Latin America, Bruno Arena, highlighted that Argentina continues to be one of the priority markets within their international expansion strategy.

For machinery and equipment in Guaymallén.

Expansion Plan and the Rental Model

Casa do Construtor has over 800 operating units in Brazil and a presence in Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. For 2026, the company projects reaching between five and seven stores in the country. Furthermore, the Mendoza franchisee aims to add five new units in nearby cities, showing great confidence in the local market.

The business model of renting professional equipment aims to gain ground in Argentina as a key alternative to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency for construction companies, contractors, and individuals, optimizing resources in small and medium-scale projects.

Other Global Brands That Arrived in Mendoza

The arrival of the Brazilian company is not an isolated event. In recent months, Mendoza has become the scene of a series of landings by international brands that see the province as a market with high potential:

NBA Store

Opened its second official store in Argentina, located in Guaymallén with a space of over 1,000 square meters for official products of the professional basketball league.

Indian

Often called the Uruguayan H&M, this clothing retailer deepened its expansion with two new commercial spaces: one in the City of Mendoza and another in the Palmares shopping mall.

McDonald's

Continued to expand its presence with a new location in Espacio Costanera, at the city's main Bus Terminal.

KFC

Confirmed its expansion in the Mendocino market, also with a location in the Espacio Costanera at the Bus Terminal.
