A Farewell to a Legendary Character Actor

The British actor Michael Byrne passed away on June 20 at the age of 82, according to reports from The Guardian. While the news recently reached the public, the performer had remained active until 2023, when he made his final appearance in the miniseries The Phoebus Files.

Byrne built an impressive career spanning more than six decades across theater, film, and television. Born in London on November 7, 1943, he trained at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama before taking his first steps on theatrical stages.
