Matías Hanssen left the Gran Hermano Generación Dorada house after losing the head-to-head against Solange Abraham. With his exit, the Argentine reality show will experience for the first time a final composed exclusively of women, a milestone that hasn't happened in almost two decades.

A Historic Night in Gran Hermano Generación Dorada

The elimination gala on Monday, August 10, 2026 left an unprecedented moment in Gran Hermano Argentina. After a week of tension and confrontations, Matías Hanssen left the house by public decision, clearing the way for an unprecedented final: for the first time in the history of the reality show, only women will compete for the title.

The Definitive Duel: Hanssen vs. Sol

The outcome of the 25th gala was in the hands of Matías Hanssen and Solange 'Sol' Abraham, who had a turbulent week with several clashes. Ultimately, the public chose to save Sol, who received 42% of the votes, while Hanssen got 52% for his elimination.

The First to Be Saved

Before the final duel, four contestants secured their place with low negative vote percentages: Alejandra Majluf (0.2%), Yanina Zilli (0.5%), Charlotte Caniggia (1.9%), and Jennifer 'Pincoya' Torres (4.5%).

The House Split

During the gala, host Santiago del Moro asked the other players to stand next to the one they wanted to continue. On Hanssen's side were Yipio, Luana, Charlotte, and Tamara Paganini. Meanwhile, Pincoya, Zilli, Majluf, and Mariela Prieto supported Sol.

Matías Hanssen's Farewell

After 82 days inside the house, Hanssen said goodbye with positivity and gratitude: 'I think I made the most of this opportunity. Good luck to all of you, don't kill each other as much as possible', he told his female companions, thanking 'Big' for the experience.

An All-Female Final

With this elimination, the house now has 9 women: Solange 'Sol' Abraham, Pincoya, Yanina Zilli, Luana Fernández, Tamara Paganini, Charlotte Caniggia, Mariela Pietro, Alejandra Majluf, and Yisela 'Yipio' Pintos.

This is a historic milestone for the competition, which will have a female winner again after almost 20 years. The last one was Marianela Mirra in GH 2007, succeeding Viviana Colmenero, winner of the third edition (2002-2003).

What's Next: Former Players Enter the House

As announced by Santiago del Moro, on Tuesday August 11, 2026, former players from this same edition will enter the house, though they will not be part of the competition, adding a new twist to the final days of the country's most famous reality show.
