Hours after the announcement, Clerici posted a story clarifying: "I am single" and that she is going through "one of the most important and happiest moments" of her life. The phrase that caught everyone's attention was the ending: "I just wanted to clarify that right now I am dedicated to MY", with the letters "MY" capitalized.

The detail was interpreted by influencer Pochi de Gossipeame as a possible reference to Martín Insaurralde. The journalist claimed to have information that the two never actually stopped seeing each other, although this remains an unconfirmed version.

Yanina Latorre's Claim

Journalist Yanina Latorre stated on August 19 on the program El Observador that Clerici had supposedly reconciled with Insaurralde. After hinting it was a man who was "political, very famous, kirchnerista (a supporter of the Kirchnerist political movement), and had conflicts on the front pages of newspapers", she finally revealed: "With M.I. They got back together, I swear." However, Latorre clarified that the baby "came from fertility treatment", not from Insaurralde.

The Context: The Yategate Scandal

Mechi, Clerici was cleared in the case regarding suspected money laundering that linked her to Insaurralde, a former cabinet chief for the Buenos Aires province government. The court ruled that there is no evidence connecting Clerici's assets with Insaurralde's funds. The case originated in September 2023 when images of both on a yacht in Marbella, Spain, went viral, causing a major political stir.

The investigation also examined the origins of other luxury items Clerici owned, including a limited-edition Gucci baby stroller that she had displayed on social media in 2024.
