A Dark History: Two Other Daughters Died

This is not the first tragedy linked to Sosa. She was previously tried in August 2018 for the deaths of two other daughters, but was acquitted due to lack of evidence of abuse or mistreatment:

Candela Milagros (6 months): Died on August 31, 2013 at the Hospital Materno Infantil in Mar del Plata due to respiratory complications. Initially, traces of cocaine were suspected but not confirmed.
Yazmín Milagros (11 months): Died on October 8, 2016 after a respiratory decompensation. Sosa and her then-partner, Héctor Picart, were fugitives for nearly two years before being arrested and later acquitted.

Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy: During the previous investigations, the Family Court and the Hospital Materno Infantil detected signs of this mental disorder in Sosa. In this condition, a caregiver deliberately causes or exaggerates illness in a dependent to gain attention or sympathy. Experts note that such cases often involve repeated unexplained medical emergencies.

Family Voices

Lucas Ruiz (17), Sosa's biological son who was given up for adoption, publicly denounced his mother: "I want to see her in prison or in a psychiatric hospital." He is scheduled to testify as a witness on July 29, 2026.

Meanwhile, José Daniel Aguirre (53), Sosa's current partner and Isabella's father, stated he was unaware of his partner's criminal record. "I came home from work at 2:30 PM and found the girl lying on the bed. I picked her up and ran down the hallway to the workshop... I felt she had no pulse. For me it was an accident," he said. He also confirmed that their other 4-year-old son will undergo a Cámara Gesell (a forensic interview using a one-way mirror, common in child abuse cases in Argentina).

Isabella's body has not been released to the family pending histopathological and toxicological studies by the Forensic Corps.
