Rosario Becomes the Global Epicenter of Agricultural Innovation

With an eye on the future, the city of Rosario is preparing to welcome the main leaders of agriculture, technology, and investment as part of the Aapresid 2026 Congress and the BCR Agtech Forum.

Between August 4 and 6, 2026, the Salón Metropolitano in Rosario and the Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR) will be the must-attend meeting point for the agri-food sector. Under the theme Our Soil, Our Voice, the 34th Annual Aapresid Congress will focus on soil resources, while the BCR Agtech Forum, taking place on Tuesday, August 4, will carry the motto Connect to Transform the Future of Agriculture.

BCR Agtech Forum: Startups Take Center Stage

Organized by the Rosario Stock Exchange, Innventure AgriFood Tech, and with support from BID Lab, the BCR Agtech Forum will bring together companies, startups, investors, producers, and key players from the Agri-Food-BioTech ecosystem. A major highlight is that the MEI Rounds (Innovation Markets) will have a permanent home in the traditional trading floor of the Stock Exchange. This symbolic gesture gives innovation a prominent place, enabling one-on-one meetings between 40 startups and 20 investor groups, exceeding 150 annual meetings.

Aapresid 2026: Our Soil, Our Voice

The Congress of the Argentine Association of No-Till Farmers (Aapresid) returns to Rosario with a monumental proposal: 160 speakers, 400 exhibitors, and activities spread across 10 simultaneous auditoriums. The agenda covers nine thematic axes: Learning by Producing, Global Challenges, Innovation and Agtech, Pest Management, Integrated Systems, Socio-Political Perspectives, Soil Health, Business Management, and Crop Management.

Aapresid's Director of Foresight, Carolina Meiller, emphasized that the theme aims to give the soil a voice and promote knowledge exchange, understanding that everything is learning, but with science validating the data. Confirmed international speakers include Chad Lee (University of Kentucky), Christine Morgan (world reference in soil health), Dwayne Beck (no-till specialist), Celso Omoto (University of São Paulo), and Muhammed Ibrahim (Director General of IICA).

Business Rounds and Investment Opportunities

The Business Rounds, designed to strengthen ties between the innovation ecosystem and the agri-food chain, will take place on Wednesday afternoon, August 5, and Thursday morning, August 6, at the Salón Metropolitano. They are open to all visitors at no additional cost, but require prior registration (open until July 31).

Additionally, tech entrepreneurs already have a second date on the calendar: October 6, 2026, when the Bavarian government will bring the Oktober Investment Fest to the Rosario Stock Exchange, with major foreign funds ready to invest in national and Santa Fe innovation.
