After days of intense political crisis surrounding Manuel Adorni, President Javier Milei made a strategic move by designating Adrián Ravier as the new presidential spokesperson. The decision came after a marathon meeting of approximately six hours at the Quinta de Olivos, the official presidential residence.
Ravier's appointment arrives at a critical moment for the administration. Manuel Adorni faces a censorship motion that has already gathered 120 of the 129 required signatures in the Chamber of Deputies (Argentina's lower house). The interpellation is scheduled for June 25, 2026.

Ravier's appointment represents an attempt to renew official communications and distance the government from controversies surrounding Adorni, who has faced questions about his asset declaration and his performance as spokesperson.
The opposition bloc is pushing the censorship motion while La Libertad Avanza seeks to contain the damage. Patricia Bullrich appears strengthened within the cabinet and is negotiating positions in the Senate. The date of July 2 is shaping up as a potential "D-Day" for political decisions regarding this case.
