Argentina's Government Agenda: Fiscal Innocence, Route A012 Transfer, and Milei's Trip to Brazil

22/07/2026 16:33 - Politica

Reactivation of the Official Agenda

The Argentine national government is reorganizing after the 2026 FIFA World Cup developments, advancing into a week loaded with key announcements for the libertarian administration. This marks a clear path of work and prosperity for the country.

Tuesday, July 22: Political Activity Resumes

At 11:00 AM, the Presidential Spokesman, Adrián Ravier, will hold his customary press conference to review the current state of the administration.

At 1:00 PM, a new meeting of the Political Table will take place, headed by Karina Milei (General Secretary of the Presidency) and Diego Santilli, to coordinate the legislative and management strategy.

Wednesday, July 23: Economic and Highway Announcements

The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, will officially present the draft bill to modify the Fiscal Innocence Law (a local mechanism designed to encourage the formalization and use of undeclared savings without punitive tax measures).

At noon, at the Casa Rosada (the seat of the Argentine government), a historic agreement will be signed to transfer the National Route A012 to the province of Santa Fe for a period of 20 years. Participants will include Diego Santilli, Karina Milei, Luis Caputo, and the Governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro. The deal includes an initial investment of 5,000 million Argentine pesos (ARS) to improve the highway infrastructure.

End of the Week: International Agenda and Agribusiness

Trip to Brazil

On the night of Friday, July 24, President Javier Milei will travel to São Paulo, Brazil, to attend the Liberal Party Congress. During this event, the presidential candidacy of Flávio Bolsonaro for the upcoming October elections will be officially confirmed. Although President Milei will not be able to visit former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro due to restrictions imposed by the Brazilian Supreme Court, his presence strongly reinforces regional diplomatic and ideological ties.

Opening of La Rural

On Sunday, July 26, President Milei is scheduled to attend the official opening of the traditional La Rural Exhibition in Palermo (a major agricultural and livestock fair held in Buenos Aires, crucial for the country's agribusiness sector). The event was rescheduled so that the President could participate after his return from Brazil.
