Argentina's Auto Parts Crisis: Production Drops 9% and Over 4,000 Jobs Lost

The Argentine auto parts sector faces its worst moment in years, with an 8.9% production decline in the first four months of 2026 and 4,100 jobs lost. The Association of Argentine Component Factories (AFAC) warned about the impact of lower domestic and external demand, plus competition from Chinese imports.
