In an unprecedented move, the Argentine national government has transferred the administration of Route A012 to Santa Fe province for 20 years. With an initial investment of $5 billion ARS, roadworks are set to begin this Thursday to repair this vital corridor, through which 80% of the country's grain exports flow.

Santa Fe Takes Control of Vital Route A012: Toll-Free Roadworks Begin

Governor Maximiliano Pullaro will sign the historic 20-year transfer of Route A012 to the province this Wednesday, July 22, 2026. With an initial investment of $5,000 million ARS, Santa Fe begins an ambitious pothole repair plan on Thursday to unblock the country's crucial agro-export logistics and boost the flow of grain exports through the Rosario port hub.
