Tianwen-2 Probe Sends First Image of Earth's 'Minimoon' Kamo'oalewa
The Chinese spacecraft Tianwen-2, after traveling 1 billion kilometers in 400 days, positioned itself 20 km from asteroid Kamo'oalewa and captured its first photograph. This space rock, known as Earth's 'minimoon', could be a fragment of the Moon, and the mission seeks to collect samples to unveil its enigmatic origin.
