Argentina Confirms Six Citizens Dead, Sends Humanitarian Mission to Venezuela

The Argentine government confirmed that six citizens lost their lives following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, 2026. The Foreign Ministry deployed a humanitarian consular mission with two diplomatic officials to assist those affected, marking a diplomatic reunion between both countries after nearly two years of broken relations.

Argentina Searches for Three Citizens Missing in Venezuela Earthquake

The Argentine government has activated search protocols to locate three Argentine citizens who remain missing after the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24. A humanitarian mission with 26 specialized personnel has been deployed to Caraballeda, in the coastal state of La Guaira, the area most severely affected by the catastrophe that has left over 1,450 dead.

Bolivia Blocks Entry to Argentine Human Rights Delegation

The Bolivian government has prevented 17 Argentine citizens, including lawmakers and union leaders, from entering the country as part of an International Humanitarian Mission. Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno reported that Bolivian authorities detected inconsistencies in the documentation presented and exercised their sovereign powers to deny entry.
