World ALS Day: Scientific Advances Bring Hope to Thousands of Patients in Argentina
Every June 21, World Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Day is commemorated. In Argentina, between 3,000 and 3,300 people are diagnosed, with 900 to 1,000 new cases annually. Approved treatments and ongoing research offer hope for improving the quality of life of those suffering from this neurodegenerative disease.
