In a candid interview, María Becerra opened up about her intimate life with fiancé J Rei, delivering unforgettable moments on Spanish television.
María Becerra continues conquering international stages and screens worldwide. The Argentine singer, currently at the peak of her professional career with sold-out tours, demonstrated her signature authenticity while discussing personal topics during her appearance on La Revuelta, the popular talk show hosted by David Broncano on RTVE (Spain's public broadcasting network).

One of the most amusing moments came when María used the term "gauchitos", a typical expression from Argentine lunfardo (Buenos Aires slang), which left the Spanish host puzzled. "We're very spontaneous. He's like me; we're very gauchitos, you know?", she explained.
Seeing Broncano's confused expression, the singer clarified: "It's like you say yes to everything, you're hardworking, you don't make excuses". The explanation drew laughter in the studio and showcased how the artist brings Argentine culture abroad.
Cultural Note: The term "gauchito" derives from "gaucho" — the legendary horsemen of the Argentine Pampas. In modern usage, being "gauchito" means being obliging, willing, and good-natured — someone who doesn't complain and gets things done.
Becerra described her routine with J Rei includes spontaneous encounters that happen anytime: "I don't know, we park somewhere. Like: 'Hey, I don't know, you down?' And obviously yes".
She also shared a typical scene from their days together, mixing humor with daily life: "'Hey honey, I have to go to work, I have to leave now.' 'Oh, you have to go already? Yes, I have twenty minutes.' 'Okay then, let's go'".
This isn't the first time Becerra discussed intimacy on the same show. In November 2024, during a previous visit to La Revuelta, she answered the same question with a very different figure: "Honestly, in the last month I think twice".
At that time, she attributed the low frequency to distance: "But that's because I was traveling, I was a month away from my tiger", she explained then, using "tiger" as an affectionate Argentine slang for a handsome or attractive man.
María Becerra and J Rei (whose real name is Julián Reinante) went public with their relationship in November 2024 when the singer confirmed the romance on the same program. Since then, the couple shares moments on social media and shows up unfiltered in interviews, becoming one of Latin music's most beloved couples.
