The tension peaked when Mica Viciconte, a well-known Argentine TV personality and former reality star, harshly criticized her co-worker Daniela Celis for attending the show braless, wearing a transparent white shirt.
For context, streaming shows in Argentina often blend traditional TV formats with the more relaxed rules of internet broadcasting. However, Viciconte argued that the channel is family-oriented and has child protection policies. She stated: "You can't show your breast because they will take the show down." The former reality star insisted her comment wasn't personal, claiming that certain traditional TV dress codes must be respected, unlike standard internet formats.
As the clip went viral, Daniela Celis, a beloved influencer and former Big Brother (Gran Hermano) contestant, took to social media to post a lengthy and heartfelt response. She defended her right to dress as she pleases, explaining that she hasn't worn a bra for years because they cause her physical discomfort, rashes, and chafing.
With a raw honesty that moved her followers, Celis shared an intimate detail about her motherhood: "It's true that my nipples might be more noticeable than others, but it's also because when I became a mom, I breastfed two babies at the same time and they got a little darker. I think it's sad to talk about or judge the shape or color of a nipple."
She also clarified that she always respects dress codes when appearing on traditional television or at formal events, routinely visiting the wardrobe department before going on air. Her friend and fellow TV personality, Juli Poggio, also jumped to her defense, stating that "a cleavage doesn't disrespect anyone."
The scandal added a new chapter when prominent Argentine TV host Yanina Latorre raised her voice to dismantle Viciconte's stance. Known for her straightforward opinions, Latorre was scathing in her evaluation: "Mica's reaction caught my attention; it was very antiquated, and on top of that, she had the nerve to say 'they don't understand me.' Yes, we all understood that there are dress codes."
Latorre revealed an unknown behind-the-scenes detail, exposing that the conflict had been brewing: "She had already made the reproach off the air, and [the producer] Pestañela asked her not to say it on air." The communicator sympathized with the influencer for feeling forced to give such intimate explanations in public just to appease her colleague.
To close her argument, Latorre backed the model's aesthetic freedom and launched a sharp reflection against those who justify judging others based on their clothing choices: "She didn't go to a kindergarten, it's a streaming show and an entertainment program. If someone stares at Daniela's breasts, does she deserve it because of what she was wearing? No, take responsibility for your own actions."
