Authorities in the province of Córdoba have successfully identified and arrested three individuals allegedly involved in a vicious attack on a 15-year-old teenager. The young man remains hospitalized in grave condition after suffering a severe traumatic brain injury.
The incident occurred on July 9, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM at the intersection of Av. Cárcano and Sargento Cabral in the city of Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba. Reports indicate that the teenager had a verbal altercation with a group of four to five people. During the ensuing fight, the young man was struck in the head, allegedly with a glass bottle.
The teenager's mother confirmed to local media that her son remains in critical condition, hospitalized due to the severe injuries sustained during the attack.
Following the assault, the teenager was rushed to the Hospital Municipal Gumersindo Sayago, where doctors diagnosed him with a traumatic brain injury. He was immediately admitted to stabilize his clinical condition.
Police and judicial authorities advanced the investigation and managed to identify those responsible for the attack. To date, the arrest of three individuals linked to the incident has been confirmed. They will be questioned by the competent authorities to determine their level of involvement in the violent event.
