The Posadas Autodrome is set to vibrate this weekend with the definition of the eighth round of the Turismo Carretera, corresponding to the Lusqtoff Grand Prix. The grand final is scheduled to start at 14:00 hours, promising a top-tier spectacle for motorsport fans.

The front row will be made up of the winners of the fastest series: Nicolas Bonelli driving his Ford and Christian Ledesma with Chevrolet. This marks the very first pole position for the German brand in the history of the TC.

What is the Turismo Carretera?

For those unfamiliar with South American motorsport, the Turismo Carretera (often simply called TC) is the oldest and most popular car racing series in Argentina. Founded in 1937, it features vehicles based on street models but highly modified for competitive racing. The traditional historic brands are Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, and Torino. Recently, Mercedes-Benz has burst onto the scene, proving that this classic category continues to evolve and embrace new, exciting challenges.
