Another version, offered by Karina Iavícoli on the show LAM (América TV), points to a trip the musician took to Bariloche, a picturesque city in the Argentine Patagonia, as a possible trigger for the distancing. According to the panelist, Fito often spends time with friends like Juliana Gattas (singer of the band Miranda!) and Dolores Fonsi, with whom he took that trip: “From that moment on, there may have been a distance because Sofía didn't like it,” she explained.

The relationship became public in January 2026, when the Rosario-born musician dedicated a heartfelt message to the actress on her 39th birthday: “The world is a better world with you in it!
