The investigation began in September 2023 after viral videos surfaced showing Sofía Clerici (another media figure) on a luxury yacht and displaying large amounts of US dollars at 'Fincas de San Vicente'. This triggered public scrutiny over the wealth of the circle surrounding Insaurralde.
Jésica Cirio filed an extortion complaint (Case CCC 36588/2025), which paradoxically led investigators to her own door, resulting in these recent raids.
