According to Infobae, during an interview with El Destape Radio on August 3, 2026, the Riojan leader stated that a future Peronist government would review absolutely everything enacted by President Javier Milei.
We have to warn investors: Peronism is going to review absolutely everything. Whatever needs to be nationalized, we will nationalize. Whatever needs to be expropriated, we will expropriate. We will recover.
The Context of the Land Law
These statements come at a time of high legislative tension. The Argentine Senate is scheduled to resume debate on August 6, 2026 on the bill for the Inviolability of Private Property, promoted by the Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger.
