According to La Voz, tour operators in the province of Córdoba (located in central Argentina) anticipate a tourist flow equal to or greater than that of 2025. The highest influx is expected in the second half of July, coinciding with the winter school break in Buenos Aires.
In popular destinations such as Villa General Belgrano (an Alpine-themed town), Villa Carlos Paz (a bustling lakeside resort), La Cumbre, and Mina Clavero, early bookings range from 30% to 50% capacity. However, last-minute reservations are expected to rise, a growing trend in recent years. Accommodation rates remain similar to last summer's (remember, Southern Hemisphere summer is in December-February), with increases not exceeding 10%.
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the Estadio Kempes in Córdoba city will host a thrilling rugby match between the national teams of Argentina and Scotland. The event is projected to attract around 18,000 tourists from other provinces, driving high hotel occupancy in the capital and nearby cities like Carlos Paz over the weekend.
The Córdoba Tourism Agency highlighted a full schedule for July, including:
