During the weekend of the 2026 World Cup Final, a draft bill of over 144 pages began circulating in Argentina. This document proposes one of the broadest regulatory reforms since President Javier Milei took office in late 2023. With the declared goal of eliminating unnecessary restrictions, promoting competition, and adapting the legal framework to new technologies, the initiative opens a horizon of opportunities for various productive and commercial sectors. According to Ámbito, this is a significant step towards economic liberalization.
Although the text has the approval of the Casa Rosada (the seat of the Argentine national government), it has not yet been formally presented. It is expected that the Executive branch will push for its discussion after the winter recess, opening a great debate that promises to reactivate the national economy.
