The traditional Exposición Rural Argentina (commonly known as La Rural) has opened its doors in the Palermo fairgrounds of Buenos Aires for its 138th edition. This event is the most important agricultural, livestock, and industrial exhibition in the country. For car enthusiasts, it is a must-visit. Open from 9 AM to 8 PM until July 26, 2026, automakers are displaying their latest novelties, financing plans, and exciting off-road test tracks.
The Italian brand stood out with an imposing stand displaying its entire range of pickups: Strada, Toro, and Titano. Furthermore, the Fiat Titano, manufactured locally at the Ferreyra plant in the province of Córdoba, was chosen as the official vehicle of the exhibition.
The main commercial attraction is the financing for the entry-level Titano, which is priced at $41,200,000 ARS. Fiat offers financing of $38,000,000 ARS at a 0% rate over 18 months, or UVA (Argentine inflation-linked unit) alternatives at 36 and 48 months. Additionally, those who subscribe to a savings plan between July 16 and 30 will get a 50% discount on insurance for three months.
Visitors can take free test drives on an off-road track specially designed to test the 4x4 capabilities of the Toro and Titano, with specialized instructors.
The German brand premieres a special numbered edition of its classic pickup at La Rural: the Amarok V6 Unlimited, limited to only 500 units. This version features a dark aesthetic package including overfenders, front grille, oval side steps, and side stickers. The stand also showcases the new Tera Outfit and the Saveiro Trendline (a popular compact pickup in South America), along with a remote-control Amarok simulator for the biggest fans.
Ram brought two major novelties. On one hand, the new Ram Dakota Night Edition, produced in Argentina, with darkened aesthetic details on the wheels, grille, and bumpers. On the other, the pre-sale of the Ram 2500, the brand's largest pickup, which returns to the market with a redesign and a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine delivering 430 HP and 1,460 Nm, coupled to a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Its pre-sale price is $110,000 USD.
The bowtie brand presents the new Onix Activ, a variant with a more adventurous style that raises ground clearance to 201 mm. It features a 1.0-liter turbo gasoline engine with 116 HP and 160 Nm, coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission, with a price of $35,043,900 ARS. In the pickup segment, Chevrolet exhibits the robust S10 Trail Boss, better prepared for off-road adventures.
The Chinese brand participates in La Rural for the first time with a 375-square-meter stand and a 1,700-meter test track. The main protagonist is the BYD Shark DMO, the country's first plug-in hybrid pickup, with 430 HP and a combined range of 840 km.
BYD also surprises with its premium division Yangwang, showing the U8, a luxury all-terrain vehicle capable of floating in emergencies, and the U9 supercar, an EV with 1,306 HP that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds. To facilitate access to these vehicles, BYD together with Banco Santander offer financing of up to $57,000,000 ARS with a 0% UVA rate over 24 installments or a fixed rate of 35.9% over 60 months.
If you love vehicles and adrenaline, head to the Palermo fairgrounds before July 26. The off-road tracks and immersive experiences are waiting for you to enjoy a day full of action and technology.
