The tension between Wanda Nara and China Suárez (María Eugenia Suárez) escalated to a new level when the Telefe TV host posted on her Instagram stories a photograph showing herself completely naked in front of a mirror, covering her chest with her hands in what appears to be a hotel room.
The image didn't go unnoticed: it was interpreted as a direct response to the photograph that Mauro Icardi had posted weeks earlier of María Eugenia Suárez completely nude at a luxury hotel in the Maldives Islands, the same accommodation where the footballer had stayed with Wanda four years prior.
Wanda Nara is a prominent Argentine media personality, television host, and businesswoman. She became famous initially as a model and later gained international recognition as the wife and agent of footballer Mauro Icardi. She hosts popular TV shows in Argentina.
China Suárez (real name: María Eugenia Suárez Riveiro) is a well-known Argentine actress and singer, famous for her roles in telenovelas and films. The nickname "China" is commonly used in Argentina as a friendly term of endearment.
Mauro Icardi is an Argentine professional footballer who has played for top European clubs including Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Galatasaray.
The relationship between Icardi and China Suárez began in early November 2024, just days after Wanda Nara called 911 to have the forward removed from her apartment at the Chateau de Núñez, an exclusive residential complex in Buenos Aires. Since then, the couple has not stopped posting joint content on their social media, generating constant reactions.
Wanda included this photograph in a carousel she posted on her feed along with fourteen other images under the brief title: “Selfies”. The question everyone is asking is whether this was simply a coincidence or a direct message to her ex-husband and his current partner.
