Journalist Cecilia Insinga is preparing for one of the most important challenges of her career: her debut as a television host on LN+ (La Nación Plus, one of Argentina's leading news channels) alongside Robertito Funes Ugarte. The new morning show, titled "Mañanas Mías" (My Mornings), promises to revolutionize Argentine morning television with a fresh and dynamic format.
| Show Name: | Mañanas Mías (My Mornings) |
| Hosts: | Cecilia Insinga & Robertito Funes Ugarte |
| Schedule: | Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 10:00 AM |
| Channel: | LN+ (La Nación Plus) |
| Premiere Date: | To be confirmed |
In an interview with Marina Calabró and Guido Záffora on the program Calabró 107.9 on El Observador radio, Insinga revealed how she's preparing for this new professional challenge.
About her co-host, she declared: "Robertito has much more experience in hosting. I'm going to learn from him, absorb everything to give my best. Each of us will have our own role, our own space."
Insinga confessed she already knew Funes Ugarte from their field reporting days: "I knew him from field assignments, years ago he worked for C5N (another major Argentine news channel) and we shared coverage. He's the same on and off camera - cheerful, fun... So far in the preparation, we're getting along well."
Both journalists share what Insinga described as "the street DNA" - extensive experience in on-the-ground reporting that promises to translate to the screen.
The program will focus on current events and information, with a dynamic that includes going out into the streets to create a "back-and-forth" connection with the audience. "We both carry the street DNA and we're going to try to transmit that to the screen. We're going to go out and find you," Insinga explained.
The 6:45 AM to 10:00 AM time slot positions them in a highly competitive segment of Argentine morning television, where they'll face established programs on other channels.
The incorporation of Cecilia Insinga and Robertito Funes Ugarte to LN+ is part of a restructuring of the news channel's programming grid. Insinga, recognized for her work in field reporting and on-the-ground coverage, is making a significant leap in her career by taking on hosting duties for her own program.
Diego Brancatelli, a well-known Argentine journalist who is also Insinga's partner, would be supporting this new project. As the host revealed: "He's more anxious than I am."
LN+ has already shared the first promotional video of the program through their social media, where they announce: "Mañanas Mías arrives with Robertito Funes and Cecilia Insinga. Monday through Friday starting at 6:45 AM, to open your day with all the current events." The exact premiere date has not yet been officially confirmed.
