Famous Argentine actress and model Araceli González opened up about the new bond she managed to build with her ex-husband, renowned TV producer Adrián Suar, after two decades of conflict.
After 20 years of a personal and economic struggle that kept them on opposite sides, Araceli González and Adrián Suar managed to mend their relationship. The reconciliation included a gesture from the producer, who settled the economic issues through the Justice system, acknowledging he was at fault.
About a month ago, Araceli surprised everyone by attending a performance of Sottovoce, a comedy starring Suar alongside Carla Peterson, Fernán Mirás, and Lorena Vega at the Teatro El Nacional, a historic theater in Buenos Aires. She was accompanied by their son, actor Tomás 'Toto' Kirzner, and her eldest daughter, Florencia Torrente.
The actress shared that, while getting off the elevator at Suar's house alongside Toto, he told her: 'Thank you, mom, you gave me a great lesson.' This gesture meant a lot to her: 'I am very happy with the step I took and I think it’s the best thing I’ve done in my life, not just for me, but for my children too,' she expressed in an interview with the Argentine TV show Los profesionales de siempre.
The public reveal of this reunion sparked rumors about a supposed short-circuit with her current partner, actor Fabián Mazzei. However, Araceli was blunt in denying any problem: 'Let them say whatever they want, I don't care. It seems tremendous to me that in a moment of such joy they have to throw negative things around.'
Regarding Mazzei, she highlighted his fundamental role: 'I am in love with the beautiful man I have in my house, who was very protective of all of us and who doesn't compete with anyone. Fabi just came to deliver what he is, a beautiful and very respectful person.' She also mentioned that they didn't force a relationship between Mazzei and Suar; it will happen naturally.
Araceli also referred to the moment she broke down in tears in December 2025 during her appearance on La noche de Mirtha, a highly popular Argentine talk show hosted by national TV legend Mirtha Legrand. There, she explained she was going through a difficult year and the host managed to touch a sensitive spot. However, she left a forceful phrase about Suar:
'I didn't cry for Adrián. I cried over Adrián my whole life, but not now. That's it, I separated many years ago.'
When asked about the possibility of returning to television working alongside Adrián Suar, González clarified that she has not received any proposals yet. However, she highlighted that they now talk more than before, mainly about their son and personal topics, describing the bond as 'super loving and beautiful.'
