Rockstar Games officially announced that GTA VI pre-orders will begin on June 25, 2026, marking a historic milestone for the millions of fans awaiting the most ambitious game in the franchise. The company revealed the official cover art starring Jason and Lucía, the criminal couple who will bring this new installment set in Vice City and the state of Leonida to life.
The launch is scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, although a date for the PC version has not yet been confirmed. The story is inspired by the legendary criminal couple Bonnie and Clyde, promising an epic narrative of love, crime, and betrayal.
GTA V, released in 2013, has sold over 190 million copies worldwide, establishing itself as one of the most successful video games in history. The title received continuous support for over a decade.
Rockstar also released on June 17, 2026 a new GTA Online update titled "The Next Big Score", keeping the community active while awaiting the new title.
The new installment promises to revolutionize the saga with a larger and more detailed open world than ever. Vice City, the reinterpretation of Miami in the GTA universe, will once again take center stage with next-generation graphics that take full advantage of current console hardware.
