"I've had a partner for 30 years and a family that cost me a lot to sustain."
For context, Mariela was referring to "El Turco" García, her longtime partner and father of her children, who is also a well-known Argentine media figure.

The term "placa" (plate) refers to the list of nominated participants at risk of elimination each week.
